Short Building Tutorial of Analog Circuits

In the late 90's, I had written a series of papers in which I built, step by step, basic analog circuits (from the simplest passive to complex op-amp circuits). I prepared a series of 17 papers for Popular Electronics magazine in 1999 but it ceased to exist... and  I didn't manage to translate them to English. Then the idea was born to make a short tutorial where each paper took up one page.  They are implemented as a pdf file containing a lot of jpg images; maybe, now some figures will be interesting for you. I uploaded this mini tutorial to  GoogleDrive as a pdf file in Bulgarian , and here I have placed only its contents in English. I will translate it in English but this needs time... Contents 1. Voltage causes current? 2. Current causes voltage? 3. Walking on the resistive layer... 4. Passive or active copying? 5. Series or parallel comparing? 6. Disturbed active copying. 7. Amplification by... an attenuation. 8. Single, double or multiple disturbance. 9. Disturbance as an

A System of Heuristic Means for Functional Operation with Basic Electronic Circuits

I wrote this on the basis of my dissertation on System of Heuristics for the Functional Operation of Basic Electronic Circuits, which I completed in 2013. It is dedicated to my philosophy about electronic circuits (understanding, explaining and inventing). In fact, I started doing a free postgraduate study in 1989, at the Department of Pedagogy at VMEI "Lenin" - Sofia, on the topic of Computer-based educational technology for conducting educational laboratory experiments. Then I was inspired by the didactic possibilities of this approach in technical education.  But the "wind of change" blew... and I changed my mind for a while. Over the years, I gradually realized that my vocation was to reveal and explain the basic ideas behind circuits... and this led me to start a dissertation on this topic. I uploaded this book to GoogleDrive as a pdf file in Bulgarian , and here I have placed only its contents in English. I will translate it in English but this needs time... G

Does a Transistor Amplify?

In this story, I have collected links pointing to my materials (questions, answers, comments...) about the basic transistor property to "amplify".

How to Understand, Present and Invent Electronic Circuits (a brief description of circuit-fantasia.com)

I wrote this description of circuit-fantasia.com in 2000. This was a project. Some of its features are implemented, other not.

How I Revealed the Secret of Parallel Negative Feedback Circuits

I wrote this circuit story in 2001 when I began creating with a great ehthusuasm the site of circuit-fantasia.com (How do we understand, present and invent electronic circuits). Then I wasted a few months of my life to create an animated version of this story – a kind of a fairy “story tale”:-) As naive now seeming to me then I did it all to impress a remarkable person - Thom  Hayes, who had written in his Student Manual for the Art of Electronics ingenious guesses about the virtual ground phenomenon...

A Short History of My Web Work

I wrote this personal story in 2001 when I began creating with a great enthusiasm the site of circuit-fantasia.com (How do we understand, present and invent electronic circuits).
