My Codidact paper Charge amplifier (a qualitative view) Paper History I start publishing my materials with the most scandalous story that took place in StackExchange Electrical Engineering (SE EE) more than a month ago. My idea was to reveal the secret of the strange and unexplained circuit of the so-called "charge amplifier". I had met it a long time ago - back in my student years, in the late 70's, when I had implemented and investigated its operation as a part of a vibrometer. Even it was part of my diploma thesis in 1981. Of course, then I did not understand it but just used it for my purposes. Now it was clear to me and I wanted to share my explanations with SE EE visitors. The desire arose in me to do it in an interesting and unusual way, using as a basis a physical paradox that manifests itself when connecting two capacitors (charged and uncharged) to each other.
